The McCain campaign can add some more names to the list of musicans that are angry that the campaign used their songs. Orlenans has been upset over the use of “Still the One”, Jackson Browne is suing for their use of “Running on Empty”, Van Halen got upset when the McCain camp used “Right Now” when introducing Sarah Palin last week and now Heart is upset over the use of “Barracuda” last night at the RNC.
I can’t imagine how awful it must be to have one’s work, one’s creative effort, used by a political party that they don’t agree with. Sigh.
On a positive note, here’s a use of Barracuda I think that Heart (and almost anyone) might like more. I kind of love it…
