Superbowl mania has begun as Giants and Patriots fans scrabble to get tickets for what is expected to be a history-making game.

(Note: If you didn’t know, the Patriots are undefeated this season, so if they win the Superbowl, it’s a big deal. Don’t feel bad if you didn’t know that. My husband is a fanatic and I’m from Boston, so by default I have to know and apparently care about such things)

Folks are doing all sorts of things to score seats, like the NJ dentist who is offering a $10,000 smile for two tickets. And that’s just the start. Check Craigslist and you’ll start to see insane offers for tickets, where die-hard fans will pay just about any amount to see their team, hopefully win.

And some people are getting creative in their quest for tickets. For instance take a look at this adorable YouTube plea for tickets.

It’s so creative, just watching it makes me wish I could offer him tickets.

But if you plan to hunt for Superbowl or any sporting, concert or event tickets be sure to do it safely. There are lots of folks out there ready and willing to swindle you. For tips on buying genuine tickets visit http://www.romow.com/shopping-blog/fake-sports-tickets-getting-harder-to-spot/
