It was only a matter of time - an angry baseball fan is suing their fav team, the Yankees, for the $221 dollars he spent on tickets between 2002-2007. He is suing “because the Yankees broke their implicit promise to provide a fair and honest game.”It will be interesting to see where this goes - who knows maybe I could sue the Yankees for all the times they beat my Cleveland Indians. I’m sure more appearances in the World Series would have helped Cleveland immensely, especially with the income those appearances would have generated.Of course this isn’t the first baseball scandal and it won’t be the last. My favorite scandal (or maybe the most interesting) would have to be the White Sox scandal of 1919.
