Russian President Vladimir Putin’s elusive private life is set for exposure in a new film to be released on DVD this Valentine’s Day. The film, titled “The Kiss ” Off the Record,” is about a fictional German-speaking Russian from St. Petersburg with an administrative job who marries a stewardess, has two children, and then rises to the presidency.   It’s a match to Putin’s life, although he isn’t mentioned.   The film was completed five years ago, but the Kremlin is suspected of delaying the release of the film until now, only weeks away from Putin leaving office.   Read more on the film at the BBC here.
