One lucky fan has won the chance to accompany Scarlett Johansson to a future movie premiere after bidding of $40,100 in an ebay charity auction. The fan will accompany the star to the premiere of her forthcoming movie He’s Just Not That Into You in Los Angeles in June next year. All proceeds from the Auction Cause sale will go to charity Oxfam. The mystery UK-based bidder, who has not been identified but goes by the nickname “bossnour.”

A spokesman for Oxfam said: “This was a brilliant idea and has proved incredibly popular.To get £20,000 for a 20-minute date and a pair of tickets to help us fight poverty is fantastic. All of this money will be used to help us fight poverty in countries all over the world.” [The Press Association]
