Arrested Development: The Movie. Our blogger Andy reported this exciting news a few days ago. And quite frankly, it made my day. But sadly, the film has been, well, arrested in development. According to EW.com this morning,  “no deal — much less a script — is in place for a movie version of the Fox comedy Arrested DevelopmentJeffrey Tambor told EW that the project was a go, but it seems that the star’s comments were premature.

Ah the Bluths, always teasing!

And to echo Andy’s take part tip, not only is Arrested Development incredibly wonderful, but one of our favorite people at takepart, Ed Begley, Jr., played Stan Sitwell in the series. Begley has since gone on to star in his own reality show now appearing on Planet Green, Living With Ed. You can takepart and visit the Living With Ed website to learn more about the program, and even ask Begley a question if you’d like.
