I adore westerns. I also adore Jeremy Irons and Viggo Mortensen, so Appaloosa seems to be a safe bet on my part. Ed Harris also directs and stars in the film and given his work on Pollock (his directorial debut) I’m not too worried about his work at the helm.
What is most exciting though is getting to see Jeremy Irons as the bad guy - I still get shivers from his vocal performance in The Lion King:
Also, it will be fun to see Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen share the screen this time - they didn’t get along so well last time they shared the screen:
