Public Alpha: have suggestions or feedback?

Riding in a stretch Hummer Limo in this economy and state of world affairs is like wearing a fur coat in Summer. Can a baller travel in style without wasting resources?
The other day I was passed by a stretch Hummer Limo and it occurred to me that I see the world differently. I realized just how much the world has changed, and my perspective, too, in just a few years. I think it’s because for once, my first reaction to seeing a 30-foot SUV with tinted windows was not, “I wonder who’s inside there?”. Granted, I do live in Los Angeles, where limousines in certain neighborhoods are as common as candy), but this was something larger.
I realized I couldn’t imagine any fan-revering celebrity or public figure with the lack of foresight (and prevalence of TMZ) to drive around in an 8-mile per gallon pollution thumper. I figured it was probably teenage kids, maybe 15 or 16. Although I can’t imagine fitting a wedding party in this.
Alternatively, there is a booming industry of green luxury car services popping up all over the world, everywhere from London to Denver.
You can takepart by doing a search for green limousine services on Google, or by checking out Ecolimo in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Washington D.C., Ozocar in New York, or by visiting Eco Business Links for more.
