Wendy CohenGina, thanks for continuing to broaden my perspective on film –great list! I would add Summer of ‘42 (1971) - so nostalgic!and The Long, Hot Summer (1958) - you can watch this during the dead of a northern winter and and still sense the steam of summer in the south!
