[...] Nanotechnology And Synthetic Biology: Americans Don’t Know What’s Coming Almost half of US adults have heard nothing about nanotechnology, and nearly nine in 10 Americans say they have heard just a little or nothing at all about the emerging field of synthetic biology, according to a new report. Both technologies involve manipulating matter at an incredibly small scale to achieve something new. The poll found that about two-thirds of adults say they have heard nothing at all about synthetic biology, and only 2 percent say they have heard "a lot" about the new technology. Even with this very low level of awareness, a solid two-thirds of adults are willing to express an initial opinion on the potential benefits versus risks tradeoff of synthetic biology.Blogs That May Also be of interest AdultsDocuticker » Blog Archive » Cigarette Smoking Among Adults ...Health and Humanitarian Partnership: Over 600 delegates registered ...Language Disorders in Children and Adults: New Issues in Research ...Blogs That May Also be of interest BiologyThe Problem of Biology « Black Belt LibrarianBlogs That May Also be of interest engineer(IT) Software Engineer | Australian IT Jobs(IT) Nortel Integration Engineer | Australian IT Jobs(IT) Cisco Network Engineer | Australian IT Jobs(IT) Senior Network Engineer - Cisco, Juniper Netscreen ...(IT) Storage Architect/Engineer - EMC - Finance - CBD - 18 Mth Con ...Blogs That May Also be of interest Level Of AwarenessDay 22 of 201 « Jonzeee’s BlogOur Best Version | The 7 Keys to Breaking Bad HabitsBlogs That May Also be of interest NanotechnologyGizmorama! » Blog Archive » Scientists report a nanotechnology advanceBlogs That May Also be of interest New TechnologyBlogs That May Also be of interest PollBlogs That May Also be of interest TradeoffBlogs That May Also be of interest Two ThirdsThe Two Malcontents » Illegal aliens out on bail commit more ...Coal Power Plants Waste Two-Thirds of Energy Input | TakePart Blog ...
