Public Alpha: have suggestions or feedback?
About a month ago, I posted something about Greensburg, Kansas rebuilding into the model green community following tornadoes that destroyed the town. Well, apparently I’m not the only person that’s heard about this. Go figure.
In fact, Leonardo DiCaprio, when taking a break from being Mr. Environmental Guy (actual nickname), is producing and hosting a 13-part series on the town for Planet Green, the new channel we’re all pretty pumped about. Here’s what the press release about the show has to say:
The epic docu-series is a mixture of compelling human stories and amazing feats of green building and engineering that will give the people of Greensburg a new home and a new town built for the future. GREENSBURG will premiere on Planet Green on Sunday, June 15 at 9:00 PM ET/PT and will air every Sunday for 12 additional weeks.
And non-denominational holiday’s come early this year, because Planet Green is streaming the first episode RIGHT NOW before it airs on TV. So off you go to takepart to watch it and learn more about the rebuilding efforts. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving, assuming, I guess, you forward the link to someone else.
