Public Alpha: have suggestions or feedback?
We Can Solve It, the climate change advocacy group (they’re against it, FYI) that brought us the Al Sharpton/Pat Robertson commerical, are back at it with a new spot pairing Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich. While this Ungar/Madison idea may sound like the makings for strange bedfellows, I can assure you it’s even more awkward than it sounds. Check out the video, after the jump.
Now, when they say we ought to force our leaders in Washington to implement change…isn’t Nancy Pelosi one of those leaders? Whatever happened to that 100 hours campaign, as well? You might like to ask her. But these spots, however stilted, do a good job of highlighting how important this issue is on both sides of the aisle. And, of course, you can
and see what We Can Solve It is doing to help prevent climate change.
However, we still haven’t gotten to the real issue of this commercial. Since when has Newt Gingrich looked like a Canadian on South Park? That’s new to me.
