Public Alpha: have suggestions or feedback?
Whether you’re backing Barack, holding up Hillary or maintaining for McCain, you probably can’t think of anyone better to head the EPA than Al Gore. Sadly, Al has dashed our dreams for such a prospect in an interview with the The Sun UK. Obama promised a cabinet position to Al Gore at the beginning of the month, but when asked about the offer in the interview, Gore had this to say:
“I don’t intend to be a part of any administration,” he revealed. “I’ve been Vice President, I ran for President twice, so I don’t have any interest in being a cabinet member. I think my best use is in building grass-roots support. I will, of course, give advice to whoever asks me for advice on this and will work to help but not in a formal way.”
Oh well, so much for the audacity of hope. I do, however, have someone else in mind - at least the press conferences will be entertaining.
at wecansolveit.org and find out what’s more important to Al Gore than running the Environmental Protection Agency. Booo!
