A feminist is simply a person who believes that social, political, and all other rights of women be equal to those of men. Still many folks have misconceptions of what it means to be a feminist, so the Feminist Majority Foundation made this awesome video featuring some familiar faces celebrating feminism and showing the world that this is what a feminist looks like.

Thank you! It’s so frustrating to be a feminist and feel that you are constantly being defined in terms of the “shaved-head and work boots” paradigm. To see that feminists of all shapes, sizes and opinions are being recognized is reassuring.
