Photographs of conflict and crisis in the Central African Republic by Spencer Platt will be featured in an exhibition sponsored by Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF). Opening night is free to the public, and takes place is this Tuesday, March 25 at 7:00pm at The Half King. It will include a reception, and presentations by Platt and Johanne Sekkenes, RN Director of Operational Support for MSF-USA. 

The exhibition will be shown at The Half King through the end of April.   Platt is a staff photographer for Getty Images, and the winner of the 2007 World Press Photo Contest. He traveled to the Central African Republic with MSF in December 2007.  A selection of Platt’s photographs from this trip can be viewed here.

You can by finding out how you can volunteer for MSF, an independent humanitarian medical organization delivering emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, and natural disasters. For more info on their mission, check out the video below.
