Miniature Earth is an organization supporting and promoting the idea that showing how reducing the world’s population to a community of only 100 people helps us easily understand the differences in the world. This is effectively and artistically explained in Miniature Earth’s video:
The text that originated this webmovie was published on May 29, 1990 with the title “State of the Village Reportâ€, and it was written by Donella Meadows, who passed away in February 2000. Through Donella’s Foundation, Sustainability Institute, her ideas and projects continue to thrive.
More on Donella Meadows including the original “State of the Village Report” and information on the Donella Meadows Leadership Fellows program may be found at www.sustainer.org

Wonderful music to accompany a tragic message. Thank you.
I am one of the rich 25%, being a white Canadian women who owns her own home.
I am also a divorced mother struggling to raise two children to be healthy, happy adults.
I am being blindsided by an economy which inspires people to be in the top 1%, no matter who they hurt.
Most of my friends are also divorced mothers who have been more or less abandoned by their mates.
We think it is probably because raising kids in our environment sucks.
They would rather party and find other women with no kids.
Now our kids face huge health risks including aids, asthma, autism, cancer, carnage, diabetes, fas, lupus, md, ms..
Raising children was a mother’s number one job but our economy forced us to go to work so big business had to help out.
We won’t go into what they decided to feed us because that is another tragic story.
Who will form the NEXT GENERATION of 100?
lora brunckeWill there be one?
