Merry Manhunt

Looks like British little boys can get the unbelievably violent video game Manhunt 2 in their stockings after-all.

The video game made by Rockstar was banned in June is now available after developers won a hearing at the Video Appeals Committee to have a ban on the title lifted.

When the game was first banned David Cooke, director of the British Board of Film Classification said: “There is sustained and cumulative casual sadism in the way in which these killings are committed, and encouraged, in the game.”

The game is advertised on Amazon.com as Like the original Manhunt, Manhunt 2 isn’t for the faint-hearted ( ESRB rating is M for Mature). Death scenes are particularly gruesome, gory and bloody. Improved AI and advanced graphics make the game seem more realistic. Coupled with an eery soundtrack and sensational audio effects, Manhunt 2 is a sure-fire sequel for fans in search for frenzied action, explosive gameplay, and pulse-tingling adventure.

Oh how I miss Super Mario. All he did was stomp on a few pesky little Koopa Toopas and trip out on shrooms.
